Systems Engineer: Design, implement, and maintain a scalable, Linux-based infrastructure for Tumblr’s rapidly growing community.
Web Application Developer: Help make Tumblr the greatest place for everyone in the world to share the things they love and create.
We’re a small company where everyone has their voice heard, and we want people working here who know and love Tumblr and can help us make it even better. Most of our team has come from the Tumblr community, including Marc, Jacob, Peter, Topherchris, and Meaghan.
We’ve had great luck hiring from the community so far, and we’d love to continue this tradition with our next coworkers. Does one of these sound like your dream job? Please get in touch.
Note: Applicants must be willing to relocate to New York City. These are full-time positions in our office. No telecommuting. We know that moving is a lot of work, but afterward, you’ll be in New York City. That magical place with the great bagels and real pizza where half of the cars are yellow. How cool is that?
Hell yeah! I’m applying for the Web App dev position right effing now. I’m probably not going to get it but I’m going to hope really loudly.
I’ve never been a fan of 24. I tried to sit through the first season one weekend but it was just too stupid.
I like Alias though. It doesn’t even try to be realistic so I can deal.
Many times fans of 24 have argued with me over the possibilty of tech used on Alias that Jack Bauer and his cronies should have used on more than one occasion, like the stuff they use to block signals in certain areas. One douche even went as far to say they don’t exist and there’s no way to block radio/phone signals like they do on Alias.
The week after this argument the Queen came to open the new TV studio at our uni and all the phones and internets got totally screwed up from Secret Service interference.
Suck it, blitches. 24 sucks.
24 tech realistic? They once hacked into a computer through the damn power cord.

Hey everyone, this is a 4 minute cartoon I was commissioned to animate for the Fox-Aniboom Holiday Animation Challenge. It’s a bit of a rush job and I cut a few corners… but it’s right for the price :D.
Everybody go vote 5 on it so I can win prize money off of this bastard.
